Titre : Phosphine-Boranes and Related Ambiphilic Compounds: Unusual Structures and Synthetic Applications.

Résumé :
Our group is interested in cooperative phenomena arising from ambiphilic compounds. In this presentation, recent results on three different topics will be discussed:
- Ambiphilic phosphorus-boron and phosphorus-aluminum ligands: coordination of Lewis acids as s-acceptor ligands and dissociation of MCl bonds to give zwitterionic complexes;
- Phosphorus-boron compounds featuring strong P→B interactions enforced by a naphthyl backbone;
- Catalytic applications of phosphine-boranes as ligands for transition metals and organo-catalysts on their own.
