The present, past and future of scientific misconduct
The seminar will overview problems and initiatives concerned with scientific misconduct and related phenomena such as bias and sloppiness in research. We will look at current approaches to tackle these problems, examine whether we are facing an unprecedented epidemic of false and falsified findings, and discuss if and how scientific practices might need to be changed.
