Building your future in French

Studying in Montréal for Canadian students from outside of the Province of Quebec

Are you a Canadian or permanent resident living in another region of Canada, outside Quebec? Do you have a good knowledge of French and want to study in French? Would you like to study in Montreal, in the heart of a multicultural, enriching and dynamic city?

Did you know that the cost of your studies in Quebec could be considerably reduced by waiving tuition fees?

A provision of Bill 96 allows Canadian students outside of Quebec, under certain conditions, to undertake academic programs in French in the province of Quebec at the same tuition fees as Quebec residents.

How much does it cost to study in Quebec if you are a Canadian or permanent resident living outside Quebec and wish to study a program in French in Montreal that is not offered in French in another Canadian province?

The Faculty of Arts and Science has over 50 eligible programs!

To compare the costs of studies, visit the website of the Registrar’s Office at Université de Montréal.
