Tuition fee exemption for Canadian students outside Quebec
The Université de Montréal is a French-speaking university. All the links included on this page lead to content in French.
Did you know that you could study at a reduced cost in one of our Faculty of Arts and Science programs? Since the 2023 fall quarter, it's possible!
A provision of Bill 96 allows Canadian students from outside Quebec to benefit from the same tuition fees as Quebec residents when enrolling in university programs in French, under certain conditions.
What is the cost of tuition?
You may compare tuition fees on this page of the Université de Montréal Registrar Office website.
